Who we are

The group of people who make up The Cat Doctor health care team is dedicated to veterinary medicine. We strive to provide our clients with the compassionate and knowledgeable care that they desire for their feline family members. When The Cat Doctor selects an individual to join our staff, we are looking for the highest levels of client service, work ethics, professionalism and dedication we can find. We want to create a team that will enable us to exceed our client's expectations. It is our goal to be the undisputed choice for cat health care.

How we got started

While attending Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Cathy Boyett showed a strong interest in feline medicine. This enthusiasm for cats did not go unnoticed. One of the professors at the college identified this inclination towards cats and encouraged Cathy to pursue a career that focuses on feline medicine. After graduating from veterinary school in 1990, the path towards a feline exclusive hospital began. In 1999, The Cat Doctor of South Fort Myers was established.
